Elites have a knack for telling people who are suffering now, how much better the world is today. They do not realize that, not only is today’s suffering real to the sufferer, but also that sufferings of the past are not my reality. I do not & did not live then. I live NOW!
I always felt bad about being a ‘jack of all trades, master of none’ cos of how the figure of speech was used. Then I found the full saying is “Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than master of one.”
I have a take on this, and I have to admit that it has not been the most popular one out there. Yes, more effort should be targeting tech and innovation towards more practical (I don't know about traditional) existing solutions. The world won't be changed by apps alone.
Discipline and structure are essential to reach our highest levels of thought. We are most innovative while we are working and moving things around, not when we're resting on the sofa waiting for a great idea. #TheOtherIdeas

Specific knowledge is found by pursuing your genuine curiosity and passion rather than whatever is hot right now.
We need an urgency to create systems that will move this country forward. Innovation & entrepreneurship is 1 way to do this. We need lots of experiments to be happening concurrently based off credible data. The clock is ticking!!!!
