#Terpenes are finally making their cannabis regulatory debut! Required uniform distribution of both cannabinoids AND terpenes in extracts and topicals. Also, revisions to record keeping requirements to include info obtained on terpene profiles.
Proposed that the Food and Drugs Act would NOT apply to edible cannabis but you would have to comply with the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (as well as the Cannabis Regulations).
A 0.5% alcohol tolerance has been proposed...good news for cannabis-infused de-alcoholized beverages.
Up to 30 mg of naturally occurring caffeine may be present in edible cannabis...this effectively excludes cannabis-infused coffee beverages. But some types of tea beverages may be possible??
