Our June Clean-Up and Invertebrates Survey takes place this Sunday 1st June from 10am. Come along to help, or just see what's living in the river bed.
May Clean-Up this Sunday (4th). Starting at 10am from the river path by the Navigation Approach bridge, Stowmarket. We'll be mostly litter picking this time, and will be pleased to see you if you'd like to help.
We officially open our refurbish boardwalk tomorrow at 11am - by the river at Stowupland Street. Locality budgets from our local councillors helped us with this work - we want to thank them and record the completion of another project.
April 2025 Clean-Up is coming. We hope you can join us on Sunday to help keep our riverside (and river) spick and span. Meet by the river at the Navigation Approach bridge at 10am Sunday 6th.
Here's our Great British Spring Clean crew weighing in their haul this morning. 21kg of bagged rubbish plus some bigger things from Pike's Meadow and Stowmarket's 'other' river.
It's the Great British Spring Clean this weekend and moving off our usual patch. We'll clear some debris from the river around Boulter's Bridge, and do a bit of litter picking in Combs Ford and beside the river down to Gipping Way. Sat 22nd from 10am - meet at Boulter's Bridge.
A nice sunny morning for our litter pick and we collected 10kg of assorted tat, and a bike. A lot of walkers along the path as well, and they seemed to appreciate our efforts.
That's from 10am, Sunday 2nd March for our Clean-up. We meet by the river at the Navigation Approach bridge, Stowmarket.
Join us this Sunday morning for our next riverside clean-up. We'll mostly be litter picking, but also hope to have a walk down the river to look at the state of the footpath, and to plan our summer maintainance work schedule.

Getting ready for another river clean-up. This Sunday, 2nd February, from 10am. We'll meet by the river at the Navigation Approach bridge. The river has been a bit above its usual level this week, but should be back down to its normal level by Sunday. We'll be there with the kit.
