Nelly Roberts, orchid artist died #OTD 1959. Lived all her life and painted 1000s orchids on Loughborough Road. We placed a plaque on her unmarked grave and her house last year. Guided walks to visit both and hear about other amazing people who made south London home. Thread 👇
