Well my amazing pal @NeilMullarkey is doing his last show as a Comedy Store Player tonight. Laughed on and off stage with him nearly every Sunday for the past 40 years. I’ll miss him and I adore him.

So excited! It’s already being called the definitive James Baldwin bio. The very first sentence talks about him falling in love w/Bette Davis when he was 10. “So here, now, was Bette Davis, on a Saturday afternoon, in close-up, over a glass of champagne, pop-eyes popping.”
