Restoring a batch of video game consoles from an estate sale. So far a 7800, 2600, N64, PS2, two Sega Genesis Model 2's have been serviced. Still have 2 7800, PS2, model 1 & 2 Intelevision, Colecovision, and 7 2600 to go. Hope this one is cleaner on the inside than the outside.

No idea what is going on here, but I do find it really wild that there are ownership groups out there that will plop down the amount of money it takes to be in USL2 and just don't even attempt to connect with their community. If you just want to own a soccer team, UPSL exists.
Hey @RadioBrent I fell into my radio gig. A long time friend was filling in for someone at our small local radio station one day. The owner listened to it and offered him his own show, any format. He in turn asked me to co-host/produce. It was completely out of the blue.

When the Risers were still an outdoor club, I honestly didn't care about winning NPSL as much as getting into the open cup. Getting the chance to play teams in leagues we'd never get to be in, regardless of how much we grew, meant everything. I'll never watch another MLS game.

It's always interesting, usually in a positive way, when you wear a mildly obscure band shirt and someone comes up to talk to you about that band.
A person who I am friends with used to work in Holland. When my friend told their coworker they were from Muskegon, the coworker said "Do you wear a bullet proof vest around? When are you moving to Holland? " My friend no longer works in Holland and still lives in Muskegon.
A unique moment in the video is when the men say they're from Muskegon, which racists around West Michigan use as a euphemistic slur against Black people, and the lady recoils. The men clarify they have people in Grand Haven, an area that used to be a sundown town.
An absolutely unhinged lady (seems drunk) in Grand Haven, Michigan tried to hit the back end of two Harleys ridden by Black men at the Coast Guard festival. She flees when she realized cops are coming, and screams she has "white privilege."
Years ago, someone started an actual soccer club in Grand Haven. I went on a rant about the dilution of soccer markets in West MI. Then someone saw the rant, started a faux team, then a faux league, which led to this. Be very careful what you post, kids.
