I just had a belated conversation with a third person who had deeper firsthand knowledge of L'Affaire Chik-Fil-A than simply "Adam told them after it happened". I now consider the veracity of the incident to be settled beyond reasonable dispute. He is owed an apology.
We're overdue for, and probably not that far away from, a sub-Saharan African pope, so I don't really understand why people freak out when Gemini prematurely depicts one. On the other hand, Gemini should be able to grasp that popes have to be male under the current rules.

David, as I say, you are a grown man, and I am myself long past the age where I can be stung by lofty condescension, or provoked into continuing a stupid fight by personal insults. It is undignified to continue this and I wish you'd stop.
Becoming clear that an entire generation of younger progressives whose political character was formed during the Obama admin take the extra-gentle media treatment he got as the baseline to which any Dem president is entitled. Hence their indignation when we do our jobs.
