Matchday! 🏏 As we enter the final weeks of the season, it's all to play for in Division 7 as the 1s look to stay in the top two against Rye. Whilst it might just be about pride at this point, never write off a great escape! The 2s travel to Selmeston. Good luck to both teams
RESULTS: Last week thanks to a good team bowling performance spearheaded by Ryan Hover, and a top knock by Satish, the 1s comfortably saw off Firle. The 2s fell short against a strong Westfield side, making relegation looking almost a guarantee at this point.
Matchday! 🏏 (The biggest one of the year!) After losing a thriller last week, the 1s face table toppers Hailsham with a win likely needed to keep hold of 2nd place. The 2s face Lewes St.Michaels, with a win potentially lifting them out of the relegation zone. Go well lads!
Matchday! 🏏 The 1s will be trying to avoid complacency after a good run of results as they host Laughton. The 2s travel to Denton and will need a renewed approach to find a way to win and make up ground on the teams above. Go well boys!
RESULTS: A tale of two teams once more. The 1st XI posted a mammoth 324-4 thanks to 50s from Aaron, Pete and Brad, before a Luke Costello masterclass ended BYGs hopes. The 2s are in a serious rut. Failing to score at any pace, they made it easy for Alfriston to comfortably win
Matchday 🏏 Business as usual for the 1s last week with a crucial win against Newhaven, so they'll want to keep it going away at Bells Yew Green today. The 2s, after another loss last week, but will need to be on top form today to beat Alfriston in a bottom of the table clash.
Matchday! 🏏 Massive week for both teams. The 1s host Newhaven in a 2nd v 3rd clash in division 7. The 2s really need to start picking up wins and will look to do so against Rotherfield. (No 2s graphic this week as team still being finalised... Standard) Go well both teams!
RESULTS: The 1s continued the momentum with a win thanks to 50's from Satish, Steve and Aaron. The 2s fell short despite some solid performances with the bat from Andy and Dion. In midweek, the T20 side won a close encounter, with everyone chipping in with runs and wickets.
Matchday! 🏏 This week the 1s make the lengthy journey to Rye to try and make it three wins on the bounce. The 2s host Selmeston and Alciston, once again trying to remove themselves from the foot of the table. Go well lads!
Results: 1s win again. 2s lose again. After another top knock from Pete Hayward, an excellent all round bowling and fielding performance secured the points for the 1s. The 2s meanwhile were unable to chase a pretty hefty score of 248 despite a solid effort from Andy Johnson.
Matchday! 🏏 The 1s host Firle in a repeat of an absolute thriller last year! For the 2s it's a trip to Westfield to try and propel themselves off the foot of the table. Good luck both sides.
RESULTS: A mixed weekend capped off by a disaster-class in midweek. An absolutely top class 💯 from Pete Hayward ably supported by Tom Carter saw the 1s overwhelm Eastbourne 3s. The 2s lost to Hailsham 3s after failing to post a defendable score. Midweek was not good.
Matchday 🏏 After two losses last week we go again. The 1s travel to the Saffrons to take on Eastbourne 3s after losing a thriller to Hailsham by 4 runs last week. The 2s host Hailsham 3s this week and will hope to get maximum points in a division where it's all up for grabs.
Matchday 🏏 It's derby day as the 1st XI take on Hailsham CC in a game that could go a long way in shaping the table early in the season for us. The 2nd XI travel to Lewes St Michaels looking to build some momentum after a great performance last week. Good luck to both teams!
WHAT. A. WEEK. 3 convincing wins for the club in the last 7 days! Serious performances from Aaron Smith (5-10), Andy Johnson (84), Billy Knight (3-22) and Bradley Tate, who bowled 8-8-0-2! Good work boys! 🏏
Week 3! 🏏 This week the 1s host @seafordcc 2s looking to build momentum after last week's huge win! The 2s meanwhile will be seeking their first win of the season away to @bexhillcc 3s. Good luck to both teams!
Results: A mixed bag this weekend. The 1st XI got swift revenge thanks to a superb 💯 from Aaron Smith and a stellar all round performance from Luke Costello In Polegate, the 2s sadly couldn't quite get through the gears and fell short chasing in a rain affected game.
