It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

In April 2022, the UK government introduced a temporary 1.25 percentage point increase in NICs for both employees and employers, bringing employer NICs to 15.05%. This increase was intended to fund the new Health and Social Care Levy to support the NHS and social care.
In 2022 the Tories increased employer NI to 15 percent and there was no media meltdown. In 2023 they reduced it to 13.8 percent. Labour have put it back up to 15 percent. Media are deliberately exaggerating its impact on business. #trevorphillips #bbclaurak

Every time you use the River Mersey Ferry, the King profits, an investigation by Dispatches and @thetimes reveals. The Duchy of Lancaster, which owns the coastline from Barrow to the River Mersey, charges the publicly-owned ferry a yearly fee for mooring at a pier on Duchy land.
Reminder that King Charles owns all the Sea's in the UK and charges Wind Farms more than £200m a year to rent the worthless sea they stand on. These charges are added straight on to your bills.
