If you have a chance, give blood. The family ask. Andrew had 14 operations and 100 units of blood during 7 weeks in ITU. His life was saved at least 7 times by transfusions. Alas, injuries too series. But you could help save someone. Please retweet.

Today we celebrate the short, outstanding life of my nephew Andrew who tragically died after a cycle collision with a lorry (in a cycle lane). A loving, talented son, father, brother, doctor. We are lucky enough to continue to be in this world; make the most of it. Devastating.
