This is frustrating to watch. Agree with him 100%. But the college and pro coaches aren't trying to scout guys who "make a pitch" or really know how to pitch. It's always about velo. So kids do what gets rewarded. Tons of guys who don't get a shot who can really pitch.

We fall one day short. Loss 5-2 to S Burlington. Tied 2-2 into bottom 6 before a big double broke it open. Season ends with a 28-9 record. Thanks to all the families who have supported us along the way and the players for such a huge commitment.
8 guys with hits in a 5 inning 11-0 win to stay alive in the State Tournament. Jackson Emery with a 3 run 💣 to bust it open early. Wright, McClelland, Sage combine to give up 2 hits in the shutout. Game at 4 tomorrow vs SB to try to keep the season alive.
Tough loss today 6-4 to Manchester. Left a small army on base. Losers bracket game tomorrow at 1pm vs WRJ. Need to win one at a time.
Walk off sac fly from Evan Wright to win 5-4 over Montpelier. Not much hitting today, but found a way. Davis with the win in relief. Montpelier battled all day. Winners bracket vs Manchester at 4pm tomorrow.
Game 2: Brattleboro 10 Ludlow 0 5 innings Jayke Glidden walks 3 and throws a no no! Davis with a 💣. Wright and Cutler 2 hits each in the 8/9 hole. 22-7 overall, 14-3 in league.
Game 1: Brattleboro 17 Ludlow 1 5 innings Some control issues for Emery but only 2 hits and 9ks in 4.1 innings. Glidden, Emery, Elliott 2 hits each.
Game 2: a big walkoff hit in bottom 7 from Sam Bogart to cap off a 3 hit game. Peloso and Emery (2rbi 2 out hit to tie in bottom 6) with 3 hits each as well. Bogart with a win in relief retiring 1 batter with bases loaded in top 7. 12-3 in league, 20-7 overall.

Split up in Rutland. Game 1: Rutland scores 7 in the bottom of the last to walk off 9-8. Derek Sage threw a 6 inning 1 hitter but we made 8 errors. Game 2: Brattleboro 11 Rutland 1 in 5 innings. Evan Wright gave up 0er and 3 hits in the win. Doubleheader tomorrow vs Manch
