What do you mean with modern JS stack? For simpler projects I found that even when I don't want to configure a bundler there is parcel that covers pretty much every usecase (TS, SCSS, posthtml, markdown, three.js ecc). For SPA instead I usually end up using frameworks anyway.
You can also do this with posthtml cli
Tailwind code is easy to steal 😪 But, don't worry. You can easily obscure it! Here's a little code snippet how to do it ✨
