Power Digits believes BYU is a deserving playoff team. But it is disappointing to see/hear constant campaigning for selection by the teams. Is there faith in a committee or is it a helmet scout invitational? Maybe a clearly defined ranking algorithm is what’s needed…
11-1 Headed to the Big 12 Championship. It would be a disservice to our sport if this team’s not a playoff team.
The frustrating part of all of this: someone who believes they should be in will be left out, and the rash decision/argument will be to expand the playoff even further… For which these same arguments will happen - among teams with even worse resumes
