So glad warm weather is here. Planning the garden, hens are setting, quail are getting old enough to start laying. A good year to prep!
So whats gonna push us over the edge first? Riots about food, riots about jobs, or riots about government? Seems the worlds going mad!
Glad it's raining, new plants will love it. Mowed most of the yard before the rain came. Looking forward to a long weekend.
Picked up a little .22 pistol (ruger 22/45) as a "grocery getter" for squirrel, rabbit etc, just put about 20 rounds through and am pleased.
Rain is coming, so rush is on to get garden finished. Took off work early to finish. I love my soil; so dark and rich. Will be a good year.
Chicken coop is done. Picking up the new members of the family later this week. Will start with some banties and move on from there.
Driving into town today and seeing folks going about their daily lives, i wonder how many realize that the perfect storm is poised to hit.
Spent most of the day working on the chicken coop. Will help us keep food costs down and also provide a good alternative to stored food.
Trying out this tweeting thing. Will write a bit of random thought and things as I go through my time of prepping for harder times to come.
