Anyone using Gardner as an excuse to hide or excuse or minimise the abuse suffered by children who are manipulated, coerced and controlled to reject the other parent - be it a mum or a dad - should be nowhere near #ChildProtection, not as a practitioner, nor as a policy maker.
Not interested in Gardner or what he has to say about anything or whether it is called ‘parental alienation’. The fact is that children can be and are manipulated, coerced and controlled to reject the other parent which can be a mum, a dad, doesn’t matter, it happens.
#DomesticAbuse on men is a growing concern and needs to be discussed more openly. Embarrassment and silence is not the answer. #familylaw #Divorce #dads

Hearing 'Bob's' story of #ParentalAlienation is heartbreaking. I hear these stories of a vindictive ex using children as weapons every day - it is real and very much not rare. Transfer of residence should be used sooner in these cases - no ifs or buts.
