I thought, “He’s in hospital for a few days maybe I can relax de stress a bit till he’s back at WH.” Wrong! The man can’t bare not being on tv for a second. Even while currently having the plague he’s goes on a joyride to wave at fans potentially infecting ppl who work for him.
You can argue (wrongly) that the risk to others is small. Just as you can argue (wrongly) that the risk to others from drunk driving is small. What you can NOT argue (as many right wing idiots in effect do) is that personal liberty is the only consideration that matters.
You can argue over whether masks, handwashing, banning groups etc are effective. What you can NOT argue is that you are personally entitled to take the risk as a matter of individual liberty. You risk other lives as well as your own. It’s just elementary epidemiology.
Not Hitler, no. At least not yet. I mean, Hitler wasn’t even HITLER in the beginning. Let’s not give Trump more time to become something even more dangerous and hateful.
