The last day of #4C23 continued to remind us about "Doing Hope in Desperate Times." This Convention was a dynamic professional learning and networking opportunity. We are already looking forward to #4C24 in Spokane!

If you missed me at #4C23, no worries! I am presenting more on ADHD and accommodation at BSU's Provost Faculty Summit :) I present Friday at 2:00. My talk will focus on inequities in accommodations for ADHD, share student perspectives, and discuss possible pedagogical solutions

I just uploaded my #4C23 poster to Whova! I also fixed the spelling mistakes :) So you are welcome to download it for future referencing

But wait, there’s more! I’ll be at #4C23 #T2T tomorrow to co-present about international grad assistants. Excited to start a dialogue about this topic 🙂

People have started to work on the word search I made for my office door! If this one gets finished, what should I make the next one about?

I am head-over-heels with the question based pedagogy approach to peer review! Saved that 24 page guide to my desktop :) and will definitely be trying it out next semester

#4C22 panel on neurodiversity was canceled, so I have hopped over to “Culturally Relevant Student Response” from Baker, Formo, Olleksiak, Headley, and Springer. I am already hooked!

This #4C22 panel on multilingual writing is so strong and impactful! Definitely going to come back to the recording and rewatch it. So much to learn and look up

Later at #4C22, I'll attend " Multilingual Writers’ Literacy Practices and the Promises and Perils of Translingual Pedagogy" from Silva, Banat, Wang, and Zhang-Wu. This looks like an engaging way to talk TESOL

The last #4C22 session I plan for today is "Circumventing Memory Overload: Practices for Neurodiverse Student Writers" by Reynolds and Miller at Northeastern Illinois University. Looking forward to how this session can inform my own research on ADHD and writing!

Today's #4C22 is packed with live sessions. I'm starting with "Belonging in Academia: A Pedagogical Approach to World Englishes" by Breyer, Holthaus, Scheidemantle, and Smith at the University of Kansas. I'm excited just looking at the slides! (TikTok, Voice, and STEM)!

And now I'm off to listen to (and LARP) #4C22 "Role-Playing Peer Review: Games and Gatekeepers" from Dylan Altman, Sarah Dwyer, Emma Kostopolus, Sara Lovett, Sheila McQuaid, and Lauren Woolbright :)
