I just started as editor in chief of @PMJ_editors but we have already received a number of really promising ideas for special issues. This is really good news. Please get in touch with me or @LocaGiorgio if you are interested in proposing a special issue for PMJ.

Trump! Peacemaker?

Congratulations Napoli. Lo Scudetto coming home. Very impressive win.

Peter Navarro has published a few academic contributions on business cycle management. He has no credibility at all in international business, China, trade policy, etc. He has no academic publications in those areas whatsoever.

I have referred to this blogpost several times before. Postrel was one of my main sources of influences when I started my research career. He hasn't published much the last 15 years, but what he has written is very good. I like this short little text. organizationsandmarkets.com/2007/06/06/do-…

Interesting interview w Lavrov. Pretty clear from Lavrov: 1. No NATO for Ukraine, 2. No peace without Crimea and Donbas part of Russia. 3. No limits to Russian culture and values in Ukraine. 4. Ukraine broke the 1991 agreement. This is the root cause to the war.

🚨🇷🇺 LAVROV: THE UNITED STATES FINALLY HAS RETURNED TO NORMALCY "The division during my years in the United States—which is starting from 1981—compared to that time the division now is absolutely striking. Culmination was the first election of Trump—he admitted he wasn't really…

We have loved the USA 🇺🇸 because it has been the leader of the free world and that it cares for something bigger than itself. Is that changing?

I want to bring attention to this extraordinary issue of a journal I rarely read. This issue contains a number of interesting papers. In case you are interested in the economics and policy of major projects. #megaprojects #economics academic.oup.com/oxrep/issue/38…

Moving forward and upwards with @PMJ_editors. The most important thing is publishing good research and helping our authors improve their work. But the journal has other roles too: creating and maintaining a lively scholarly debate, spreading research, interact w practice etc.

Just wrapped up an intense two days at the #PMJ editors-in-chief meetings discussing the journal performance, strategic direction, and exciting new initiatives to grow the journal #impact and #projectmanagement community (stay tuned!) @PMInstitute

Obviously a lot going on about how organizations could and should leverage AI. This issue in the @HarvardBiz provides some guidance also to project managers.

SHEIN. Fast fashion on steroids. 20 percent of global clothing market. 80 percent made from synthetics. 70 percent made from Russian oil. 50 percent of their products travel the world and within 1 year end up at dumps in Latin America. To be burnt. #shein @Aftonbladet

I am happy to share our new paper on creativity and governance. We develop a model for understanding different types of creativity and offer empirical illustrations on each of them from different PBOs. Thanks to guest editors and reviewers. @PMJ_editors @@PMInstitute

This is a new paper in the @PMJ_editors written by a group of scholars I really admire. The paper is super interesting on relational dynamics in interorg projects and the role of digital tools. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/87…

A journal I like very much.

This is really the kind of paper I want to see in @PMJ_editors Read it, think about it. Deals w an important topic, theoretically sound/reflexive, empirically ambitious, and creative/constructive in its theorization. More papers to come w same touch. journals.sagepub.com/doi/epub/10.11…

I will use this in my next lecture and seminar for my org theory course. Interesting example.

Great thread on Nvidia's org design and Huang's management style.

4th symposium on project leadership in a changing world ⁦@grill_institute⁩ highly recommended. In November. Act now and submit. Co-organized by UCL. linkedin.com/posts/taiwoabr…

I think this interesting paper on how theories can "backfire" deserves a lot more attention. Published in the Thoughlet Series at the @PMJ_editors written by Mark Keil at Georgia State addressing aspects of escalation of commitment. It is open access. journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11…
