I'm often asked: what is the best way to teach vocabulary? Here, Jeff McQuillan offers the best answer I've heard. This was worth 45 minutes of my time youtu.be/vUqJuCYoyQQ via @YouTube

I was fortunate to read an advance copy. This book is brilliant and should be adopted into HS history classes. I learned a lot. Highly recommended.

Very excited to share the cover of my new book, How the Word Is Passed. It’s my first book of nonfiction and I’m really proud it. It’s coming out June 1, 2021 and is now available for preorder. I hope you’ll consider getting a copy and spreading the word. littlebrown.com/titles/clint-s…

Alrighty. Let's pool some ideas for Ts trying to teach face-to-face AND broadcast to kids at home at the same time. What have you learned? Let's skip the comments about how impossible it is. We know that. Do you have any lessons learned or ideas to share?

“The problem is not whether people in the room can be categorized as racist or nonracist; the crux of the problem is that educators act in racially biased ways without realizing it." hgse.me/2Xv0liJ

If people don't clearly define racism and racist, then people won't clearly see racism and when people are being racist. People will go on saying "racism doesn't exist" and "I'm not racist." Clarity is crucial to antiracism. Racism, like Trumpism, lives by blurring reality.
