Last night I checked into the emergency department at my local hospital*. I saw firsthand what has happened to the NHS. However much you read, it doesn't prepare you for the terrible reality. This thread tells a now-ordinary but - in this rich nation - almost unbelievable story.
Health isn’t an individual medical issue, it's a social; political issue. That means population health improves as a result of collective not individual agency. This, in turn, means health improvement is abt community building not signposting, referring or linking of individuals.
