🛸 May 3, 1957: Astronaut Gordon Cooper’s camera crew at Edwards AFB filmed a classic metallic saucer, 30 feet across, landing on the dry lake bed. Cooper: “shiny silver and smooth” - crew got within 20-30 yards before it took off. Film sent up chain of command, never seen again.
