This could definitely change up election politics in 2020. We’re looking at where certain voting groups - especially independents- may head come November, and a third party candidate could draw key votes away from either side.

Rep. Justin Amash, who left the Republican Party last year, is exploring a third-party bid for president, adding new volatility to the race nyti.ms/2zFyljw

Since this is my third semester on the team, I really enjoy the partner aspect of it. Being able to work with Harper has been amazing as we bounce ideas off of each other and motivate each other! It's the most unique research environment I've been a part of, and I love it!

This semester, I helped work on our #TerrorismAttitudes task which was a great learning experience. I had never done anything with statistical analysis or linear regression tables before! It was a steep learning curve, but the team has helped me develop stronger research skills!

Harper and I have been hard at work this semester finishing up the #insurgentspoils project! We were able to work on a variety of cases, including the Lithuanian Anti-German insurgency and the Shifta insurgency. We loved learning about these two cases!

Hey, I’m Michaela! I’m a senior political science and Islamic civilization and societies double major in my third semester as an RA for the team. Harper and I will be updating you with more details about our work for the team’s projects!

Hi! My name is Harper, and I’m a junior in my first semester as a research assistant on the team! Right now I’m working on an ongoing project analyzing US politics. Stay tuned to hear what my partner and I are up to this week for the team!
