🌏East Asia and Pacific's prosperity has improved at the second fastest rate over the last 10 years, driven primarily by Social Capital, Markets Access & Infrastructure, and Living Conditions. 🔻Its major weakness is Personal Freedom.
📌According to the Legatum Prosperity Index, Latin America and the Caribbean is the only region whose prosperity has deteriorated in the last 10 years. The deterioration in the region is mainly due to a decline in Personal Freedom, Governance and Economic Quality.
To measure prosperity, we analyse 300 indicators for 167 countries compiled into 67 elements, 12 pillars and 3 domains. 🔵This framework explains our approach and why Prosperity means much more than wealth. 🔴The following image shows the Global Prosperity rankings in 2023.
