Koala Sampler has a beta Windows version. Pretty decent functionality so far. Similarly, Koala's integration with the SP-404mkii is powerful addition.
Anyone ever try doing some field recording/sound generating in a parking garage? I wonder if doing so would yield some usable results? Sounds like a fun experiment!
I love the way FL Studio allows you to whip up a mini-world. Create a theme, select a wallpaper, and generate an aural microcosm. Ambient drones are created from a live looper performance that I recorded in 2015.
So much energy being expressed during the spring. The air was thick with pollen! Source audio in this clip was generated from thick swells of guitar distortion that made with a volume pedal and then were imported into FL Studio and processed into the channel rack sampler.
I view the Sp-404 series as the instant camera of the audio world. Yet in many ways it would better be described as a Swiss Army Knife.
Pulse Vector Memories. Digital Apparitions. Has anyone experienced the Ensoniq "ghost in the machine" phenomena? Sometimes samples just show up out of nowhere. Ones deleted long ago. EPS16 and ASR10 both exhibit this peculiarity.
