I am literally begging writing competitions to work on the basis of years spent in the industry, not age. Age based applications especially disadvantage women from non traditional creative backgrounds who are likely to have babies earlier in their lives.

Surprised that people are “shocked” by the naked auditions when it was a known thing during my training that the 1st years at a VERY well known London drama school had to get naked on one of their first days. We were made to feel like amateurs if we found that idea uncomfortable.
