Python vs C++, which is faster? Comment 👇

Python_Dv's tweet image. Python vs C++, which is faster? Comment 👇

comparing compiled languages to interpreted ones in term of runtime speed is a silly comparison i guess!

Faster in what context? Development speed or execution? The answer will vary depending on the context.

It takes 10,000 lines of code in C to do what Python can in 400. So… best guess, Python is faster by at least an hour or more depending on your skill levels

C++ have execution fast than python. But, Python fast here because python 2nd loop range(0, 4). But in c++ until N. So, Python winner here

Did C get renamed to C++ overnight? 😕 Why are there C++ takes here? No need for what context or coding time here, It’s a simple question! C’s speed is on another level, no comparison. I love Python, but it’s the tortoise in this race (though it can be optimized).

The bottleneck would be the actual syscall to print. So the final result: it depends :)

C++ is running faster, python is getting write faster.

Uhm... la domanda è mal posta 😅😅😅

C++ is generally faster than Python at runtime because C++ is a compiled language, while Python is interpreted.

Yo Im not going to fall for this, gut = C, but its probably Python, watch 🤔

Yes of course because one is compiled (C++) and the other {Python} is interpreted.

Python will win (for large N), look at the number of iterations in internal cycle. And this depends on the user input.

Python is faster

Second one run at n while the first one n^2. So second one is faster.

Is this even a question?

@grok which is faster as per above question

C++ is faster to read!

C++ is faster it terms of performance but Python in terms of faster to code
