It’s not just COVID. I had a patient grab ahold of my arms, refuse to let go and try to shove me into a wall. He later tried to kick me in the face while giving him his medication. I’m at a hospital not even an hour from Branson.
I live near Branson, MO. The hospital there has issued panic buttons for all medical staff due to violence caused by patients and family when they’re told they have covid.
Some of y’all clearly didn’t grow up in Victorian home that DID have original floors that creaked and cracked with every step, split and gave you splinters, and stained and scratched like nobody’s business. They are NOT easy to fix or replace.
...and of course they’ll most likely put this laminate trash down instead of refinishing the original hardwood floors or whatever
2 years ago at this time my undiagnosed illnesses had gotten so bad that I was told I would never make it through nursing school, let alone as a full time student. I graduate with my BSN in 38 days and currently have a 4.0 GPA, and y’all, I am just so proud of myself :’)

Coming from the north, I never had to drip my sinks or leave cabinets open until this winter in the south. I didn’t even know there was a setting for emergency heat in my apartment until we were told to turn it on.

I wish my professors checked on me as much as the realtors who are trying to sell the houses I’ve clicked on in Zillow check on me.

NEW: @SearcyPD needs your help finding this man. He reportedly inappropriately touched a student at Harding University after chasing her inside the school’s art building. The University says he also harassed several other female students.
