Almost done with a project to replace one of my portfolio projects. Can't wait to go into the next @codingphase accountability meeting to talk about my progress

Just started learning Salesforce today.

Almost done rebuilding my resume to start job hunting. Any tips of catering your resume for a career transition that is for one that has a retail/fast food background?

What hobbies do you have other than programming/web development?

Today's been good. Finally got my portfolio set up, linked up my domain name. Funny thing: I forgot to add meta tags 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

So I guess I should re-introduce myself since I haven't posted in a LONG time! Hi there, my name is Richard! I'm teaching myself web development over on @codingphase. Particularly, I'm learning HTML Email and Content Editing, I'll post where else to find me in the near future :)

A lot of influencers make it sound like landing a job at a FAANG company is everyone's end goal. It's fine if it is, but there are many other things you could do. Especially if you have that entrepreneurial spirit. Working for yourself or starting your own company IS possible

What gives fear to those who are self-teaching themselves how to code, doesn't matter what it is, web development, game development, etc., is the job hunting. Thinking that they are not good enough, that because they don't have a degree they won't get a job. Breathe, keep going

The thing that I have been learning is: - You don't NEED to learn every technology under the sun. Just ones that you need to get the job done - Don't beat yourself up. You're doing the best that you can - Don't compare yourself to anyone else

Went into the HTML/CSS workshop hosted by Karen from the @codingphase team tonight. Got a lot of insight from the HTML Email that I have built and working on fixing it right now. These super small things that I'm doing have made the email look SO much better!

Things that I've gotten done this week: - Closing up on a landing page project for my portfolio, all that's needed is the footer, media queries, and then final adjustments - Starting to open up my Fiverr and Etsy accounts for freelancing - Edit some of my portfolio @codingphase

Days 1&2/100: Yesterday I was at work and I listened to podcasts and Livestream, and today I'm doing a quick refresher on HTML/CSS. Learning on @codingphase website #100DaysOfCode
