Actually, just realised why (perhaps? things don't have to make sense) Musk wanted to minimise land-based emissions out of existence: The emissions he wants to displace with EVs(*) are 11% of global emissions, while AFOLU (= Agriculture, Forestry and Land Use) is 22%. Whoops.
And predictably a bunch of abusive climate deniers show up. Here's the thing though. I am not the only IPCC author or climate scientist to accuse Musk of getting it wrong. By far. So ratio-ing IPCC authors and climate scientists is a @Tesla pastime now? Or just the women? 🤔
Jesus everloving christ. Some people want to give Musk a 🥇 for agreeing FF cause climate change. But here's the thing, my sweet buttercups. You don't get to pick & choose which cause of climate change you "believe" in. Science ain't like that. AFOLU at 1/5th is a major cause 🤷♀️.

It's quite something that the world's top scientists put out a synthesis report that essentially says civilization as we know it will end unless the world comes together to stop rapidly expanding the fossil fuel industry but to instead rapidly end it, and almost no one cares
