This week we took full advantage of the sunshine and went into the outdoor area to make our own bubble wands. @RockinghamPr
Class 2 are very proud of their writing about London landmarks this week. we worked hard to remember capital letters, full stops and finger spaces and even used the landmark spellings on our word mats to help us.@DRETnews @RockinghamPri
Creating pasta jewellery in EYFS. Great fine motor skills on show today and some very creative projects. We loved the pasta crown! @RockinghamPri 👑
We have been working hard to improve our fine motor skills in the bridge building challenge. We had to use the cups and lolly sticks to make a bridge to carefully balance bears. It was tricky to balance them but we didn’t give up! #resilliance @RockinghamPri @RockinghamCL
This week EYFS learned all about birds and their habitats. We ended the session by making bird feeders to leave out for the birds. @RockinghamPri @RockinghamCL 🐦⬛🐦⬛🪹
Really good half term offers!
EYFS made their own kites this week. We had some great windy days this week so we used our creation station to make kites. We took them on to our outoor area to test them in the wind. @RockinghamPri @DRETnews
Class 2 learned about Easter in RE this week. We made connections between Easter celebrations and what we know about Spring. We ate lots of tasty hot cross buns too! Yummy! @RockinghamPri @DRETnews
So proud of EYFS for their efforts this week for #BritishScienceWeek. It was brilliant to hear the buzz after school as you shared our artwork and wormery with parents and carers. Excellent questioning, research and artwork. 🖼️@RockinghamPri
Our plants are growing! We planted a variety of flower seeds and we are starting to see seedlings, how exciting. We are looking forward to seeing their growth development over the next few weeks. 🌻💐 @RockinghamPri
What else is there to do on a windy day? No pictures making the kites as it was all hands on deck and spending time connecting string, a bamboo stick to make them stronger and decorating the kites! Plenty of opportunity to see them in action this afternoon! 🌬️ @RockinghamPri
We listened to and looked at bagpipes, a kilt and highland dancers this morning. As it was Burns Night yesterday, we have had the opportunity to taste haggis, neeps and tatties, shortbread and irn bru! What a great learning experience. @RockinghamPri
