This example of the railway not thinking of passengers isn't even about the lack of a joined up railway. It's one @GWRHelp service connecting onto the final GWR Newquay service of the day. Instead of delaying that train by 2 mins, they chose to delay passengers by 2.5 hours 🤷‍♂️

Probably won’t plan to get the last train of the day after it wasn’t held for a minute last night 🤣 Only took 2.5 hours for the replacement taxi to show up 😭

Previous two @ScotRail trains from Edinburgh to Aberdeen cancelled. Plenty of spare seats on 1027 @LNER to Aberdeen The Guard has warned passengers on Scotrail tickets that they will "need to purchase a new ticket" @DavidHorne @joannemaguire79 @seatsixtyone @TransportFocus

railforums.co.uk/threads/disput… What safeguards (if any) are in place at companies such as West Midlands Trains, to ensure inspectors are knowledgeable and act correctly/appropriately? @WestMidRailway @WMRailExecutive Why no regulator/watchdog/ombudsman to do anything about this?

Apparently it's a new policy at @LNER for trains to depart 2 minutes early if it'd an "old train, as it needs extra time"; is that correct @DavidHorne ? Why not change the timetable to 20:05 if so?

railforums.co.uk/threads/workin… @TPEassist have still not reimbursed the passenger, two months later... If only there was an effective rail regulator, ombudsman or passenger watchdog with the required level of knowledge and willpower to do anything about these sorts of issues

railforums.co.uk/threads/dorche… Well done @ScotRail and @CalSleeper However @AvantiWestCoast and @SW_Help staff brought shame on the industry; hopefully both companies will investigate and ensure staff behave appropriately in future.

Has this happened to anyone else? @AvantiWestCoast ticket office staff have been charging admin fees to customers obtaining excess fares: railforums.co.uk/threads/avanti…

Train companies such as West Midlands Trains (who operate the @LNRailway and @WestMidRailway route brands) are denying legitimate Delay Repay claims, on the basis of blaming other operators railforums.co.uk/threads/delay-… The passenger did make the connection; WMT are wrong to blame XC

Why is the next fastest direct train to Gatwick not shown @TLRailUK ? This is at Victoria; the next train would appear to be in 7 mins but your boards don't mention this? (Or is it @networkrail who manages this?)

Is there ticket acceptance in place between @northernassist and @TPExpressTrains when the last Northern trains are replacement buses?

Unfortunately @AvantiWestCoast have a deliberate policy of discrimination against @TPExpressTrains passengers during disruption. This is in contrast to the approved code of practice, as well as contrary to the Conditions of Travel railforums.co.uk/threads/tpe-ti… Will they ever learn?

Is this the train to Littlehampton @TLRailUK ? Your screens at East Croydon are telling people it is. Apparently you are deliberately giving wrong info to 'prevent running?

railforums.co.uk/threads/spirit… Can someone at @CalSleeper please clarify the statements made by their customer services department, which don't appear to make sense.

Can you please issue the compensation due to your customer in this case and ensure that your staff act correctly and appropriately in future, @TLRailUK ? railforums.co.uk/threads/intere…

1017 Leeds to London only 5 cars. A lot of people sent via Leeds due to broken rail. Is first class declassified @lner?

railforums.co.uk/threads/gwr-de… Why are there so many hoops to go through, in order to claim Delay Repay? Not only are the forms difficult enough, but many claims are only reluctantly paid on appeal. @GWRHelp are the culprits this time, but it's a common theme
