Quick question for Pythonistas: How (un)Pythonic is it to subclass built-in Python objects like str, list, and dict? class MyString(str): pass It is possible to do it, but there’s significantly more friction than there is in, say, Ruby, especially for further subclasses.

Making good progress with porting @RailsTutorial sample app over to Tailwind Learning a ton and lots still to do. I'll finish all the pages first then look at responsiveness afterwards. maybe also extend some features as the sample app wasn't meant to be a twitter clone
