I come from an Outer Borough immigrant enclave, so I know plenty of cops. The ones I know often complain about being mandated to do more than what they signed up for and will be happy about the overtime cuts. A good journalist would highlight that too but it's the New York Post.

The issue is that the NYC school year ends June 26. Miss a couple of days due to snow and you have kids in school up to the 4th of July
