Nothing is more inspiring than to see Lee students earnestly seek the Lord! I’m so grateful for what’s happening at Lee. That’s why we built this chapel - in fact, why we build the entire university: to provide a place where students can experience and pursue the things of God!
Growth can be painful. It means getting out of your comfort zone. It means getting inconvenienced. But if you don't grow, you don't change. And if you don't change, you stay stuck. Go through that pain to reap the reward!
Prayer is never a desperate anxious gamble. God's attention is not based on our performance but parental love.

Jesus didn’t say, “come to me all who are crushing it, living your best life, and I will give you rest.” He said, “come to me, all who are weary, and I will give you rest.” If you’re discouraged, tired, or weary, don’t worry. That’s exactly how Jesus expected you to come to him.
I love this country, and I don’t feel corny saying I’m “proud to be an American!” Yes, the U.S. has problems and it’s not perfect; but I believe America is a truly exceptional nation, still today as throughout history. I’m so thankful for my country and all its blessings!
