The situation may provide two paths, each with different positive and negative aspects. “6 good things on one hand and half a dozen bad on the other”. The path we choose doesn’t make that one more right in comparison though. As you move forward, be safe.

COVID is real to me. My immediate family has been impacted with 2 deaths and 10 infections. It’s not sympathy that I am looking for in this tweet, but an offer of empathy to you.
This is a challenging time for Students, Teachers, Parents, District and Campus Administration. Our tech department is here to support teachers and serve students whether we are in class or online.
7-11-20, Not all the testing data was available at the time of this release. Today’s Case Count may not accurately reflect the total. The Public Health District has confirmed 95 new cases of COVID. The total is 2537, including 424 recovered, 16 deaths, and 2097 active cases.
**UPDATE** After over an hour of negations we are happy to report the horse has returned to his owner. No injuries were reported. The horse was released with a traffic warning and will not need to appear before municipal court.
So, sending kids to school is a moderate risk, but attending church with 500+ other attendees is a high risk? What if my school has 1,300 students and 150 adults? Still just a moderate risk? What if it’s a middle school where everybody touches literally everything? @teainfo ???

Have had multiple convos over last several weeks on if school will b normal when we go back in the fall. Raises several questions. 1) Was “normal” truly working? 2) Was “normal” the best thing for all kids? 3) Was “normal” the best model we as educators could develop? Thoughts?
