"I still feel like he watches me at times...even when I know that he's asleep..." Lloyd would sigh before looking down at the blonde with a defeated smile. "We're in trouble down the road, you know that, right?"
“Oh, I remember that very well,” she replied, chuckling at the memory. “I had to act confused, too. He watched you for days after that. Like a hawk.”
"Huh. Consider me impressed." Lloyd would chuckle before shaking his head. "Our boy has my instincts...you can't pass anything by that kid. I once tried to sneak away for the night and I had to make him believe that my secret room was all a part of a dream. That took days."
“I didn’t put any in there this time around,” she murmured, resting her hands on his chest as she leaned into his embrace. “Just some melatonin. Ella’s been having nightmares again, and Isaac saw me putting it in Ella’s smoothie and he wanted some, too.” Sigh.
"Is the Pope Catholic?" Lloyd would walk over towards his partner before wrapping his arms around her waist. "Those Benadryl you put in their smoothies worked like a charm."
Nods in return. "You're welcome, jerk." Cue a slight grin as well.
Casually wolf whistles from the shadows.

No matter how long they've been apart with work and what not, seeing @AustereRebel waiting for him at home with their kids after an exceptionally long day is the ray of light in Lloyd's dark life. "I love you, babe. I always will."
