I loved this installment in the Lily Adler Mystery series! The mystery was engaging and the slow-burn romance was delightful! I can't wait for the next one! 🙏
Finished up 2024 by finishing "Death By Misadventure" by Tasha Alexander! It is my annual delight and this installment of the Lady Emily series did not disappoint!
I just finished Elizabeth Everett's "The Secret Scientists of London" series and I thought they were so refreshing and different. Definitely has a bit of a modernity but they were humourous and heartwarming!
Another series finished after a several-year break! I was really pleased with "A Lady at Willow Grove Hall". No evil villains, just flawed humans!
I've been determined to cross books of my "To-read" list and I've just finished the last two in Jen Turano's "A Class of their Own" series. The heroines are very endearing and the books comedic in Turano's style!

I just finished Leenie Brown's "Teatime Tales Novelette" series! They were so cute and fun!
I really enjoyed "A Darkness in Seven Dials"! An intriguing mystery, and some great set ups for future books (e.g. secret societies). There's a budding friendship/romance that I am in ANTICIPATION of!
I'm very excited to jump into the latest Captain Lacey installment! I have a soft spot for James Denis, and definitely want to see him freed!
The O'Roarke Affair by @tracygrant was excellent! I loved visiting the past with Raoul and seeing how it can have ripples for the future! I feel like I have a lot more questions after the ending, so I'll have to check out the discussion group on Goodreads!
I'm now wondering if Arabella died the way they assumed, or if it was made to look that way? @tracygrant
I find Kitty's comments here a foil to Raoul's actions. He can't settle or find balance yet. He's only settled in the last 3 years. @tracygrant

Besotted by Elizabeth Adams was a sweet novella as a collection of letters through D&E's marriage!
I read "Where the Waters Agree", a P&P variation, in one sitting! It was a refreshing novella taking place by the sea! Darcy's cousin, the Viscount, was an amusing side-character!
