Three years ago, I got to present on a teacher panel at San Diego Comic-Con and I briefly met @geneluenyang beforehand! Thanks to @mangaclassics for giving me this great professional opportunity.
I made a lesson about euphemisms and language change over time, and I found the absolute BEST thing to include: An old official White House cook book that mentions "Toilet Recipes." 🤣 (P.S. White House image at top was added to give clarity for visual learners+ELLs) #literacy
Making some teaching materials about MLA; thought I'd review OWL just for the heck of it. (Unnecessary because ofc I'm so up-to-date on all the things.🙄) Turns out a lot has changed. Don't state medium of publication? Put dates with PERIODS? My world = rocked. (Also I'm a nerd.)
