The Dangote Refinery was built on 2700 hectares of land, 7 times larger than Victoria Island. From Survey data, A filling of 65 million cubic of sand was done to raise it to a datum of 1.5 meters. Over 250,000 piles of 35m each were sunk into the ground. This is just earth work!
