With the high high water in all of the upper Great Lakes, the steel barge “Iron scow” of 1918 has already moved 164 ft. North atop Canada’s Horseshoe falls. We could be lake trout fishing off this someday on the bottom at mouth of the Niagara River

High lake water levels are grabbing shore lumber and sending “BIG dead heads” down the shoreline already
Spring is here. !!! Hooded mergansers and Wood ducks along with pairs of geese and swans waiting for last of ice to go on our ponds. Along with THOUSANDS of migrating geese flooding the lake shore at evening.
March 1st has more shore line ice and loose ice on it than it had the WHOLE winter..... this will not last and be gone with this weeks rain and wind...... I am going to miss the brief protection it gave the shoreline though
