Now as parents we justify playing a sport year round by playing the other sports at the same time. So let’s play 2-3 sports but keep one going all year to stay sharp. Again, more like to burn out than build a hall of famer. #YouthSports
If your child has goals of playing in college & you want to ensure they WON'T BE recruited, allow them to: Throw equipment, use negative body language, not hustle, blame others for mistakes, talk back to you & coaches, argue w/ umpires, keep there eyes & ears in the stands, etc.

Coaches - be careful about how much data you throw at young players. Paralysis by analysis is real. Take all the data yourself, but learn to translate what you want them to accomplish in ways that are simple and easy for them to understand.
I need ALL ATHLETES to watch these two professionals playing at the highest level of their sport! Look at the eye contact, body language, humility, respect, and willingness to learn as their coach passionately holds them accountable for their mistakes. Be coachable!
