Many domestic violence cases in SA are severely unreported as it is. Casting doubt on such incidents does nothing to change/stop that.
Focussing too much on the "liars" as some choose to, runs the danger of discrediting the far more incidents where Women are actually abused!
The fact that these incidents occur isn't so pressing as opposed to the fact that violence against Women continues to happen
The thing is, there are some (yes, very few women) who make false rape or domestic violence accusation. It happens, but...
Some claim that women can lie about rape & be automatically believed, in turn destroying the lives and reputations of innocent men.
