For many kids, ATs are the first HCPs that they have contact and conversation around their health with. It’s never too early to learn about health and promote long term positive behaviors with the kids within our communities!
Im a collegiate AT, but I will always educate those that think SS is a stepping stone to a “higher” level. The level is already high. The HCPs are top class, the care rendered is outstanding, and it is done often under trying circumstances. Probably the most challenging setting.
A topic that is not discussed enough within the AT world. Discouraging or condescending attitudes towards secondary AT settings because it’s not “prestigious” enough. If you are #AT4all, then you are supportive of.every.single.setting. #tiredofhearingit #atiredSSAT
