I am hoping that someone will be releasing Högni Egilsson's excellent score to the historical TV drama King & Conqueror. I thought that it added greatly to the production @hogniegilsson
Some Sunday morning reading: Sergio Hardasmal's THE MUSIC OF BASIL POLEDOURIS

Just finished reading Juan Chattah's, Film Music: Cognition to Interpretation. It's an interesting read with probably some good arguments on the use of film music in movies. But it's written too much as an academic tome to completely enjoy reelmusic.wordpress.com/books-on-film-…

I spent this evening listening to two classic film scores in memory of Tom Kiefner whose passing I learned of today. The Best Years of Our Lives (1946, Hugo Friedhofer) & Moby Dick (1956, Philip Sainton) are the two scores I most associate with him and seemed a fitting tribute

Sad to learn of the passing of Thomas Kiefner. He was someone who was a great influence to me when I first 'found' fans of film music online. He was a most knowledgeable person of the Golden Age of film music. He will be sadly missed obituaries.nationalcremation.com/obituaries/ric…
The saving I made on my 'John Williams: A Composer's Life' book order has put a (modest) spring in my step

If you are ordering the new 60th Anniversary release of Thunderball in the next 90 days where have you ordered it from? #JustCurious

Here's an updated list of soundtrack podcasts/radio shows for you to enjoy. I reviewed each link a few nights ago and was dismayed by how many are now defunct, radio silent or have been completely wiped off the face of the earth along with their archives. cinematicsound.net/links
