Referee Adrian Hill, who left Thursday night's game, is believed to have avoided a major injury and his Achilles is intact, sources close to Hill tell the insiders. An accomplished aerospace engineer and an NFL official since 2010, Hill may miss some time. But a return this…
Maybe no one besides me will really care, but losing Adrian Hill for what could be the rest of the season is a big loss for the league. One of the best, most articulate NFL refs in my opinion
Current Chances to Win AFC West 📊 1. Broncos (9-2): 74% 2. Chargers (7-4): 16% 3. Chiefs (5-5): 10% 4. Raiders (2-7): 0% *According to the @NextGenStats playoff probability model that simulates the rest of the season 10,000 times every 10 minutes
Totally agree. Just ban something that will actually stop it. Like the OL 4-point stance. Banning the "pushing" element won't fix the problem and would create unintended consequences on other plays.
Times the Chiefs have allowed a 3rd and 10+ to be converted in a one-score game in 4Q: 2025 - 4* 2024 - 0 2023 - 2 2022 - 3 2021 - 1 2020 - 2 2019 - 1 2018 - 1 *Four thru Week 11: • Herbert for 19 yds on 3rd & 14 • Hurts to Smith for 28 yards • Penalty in Jacksonville to…
84% playoff probability with a win for KC, 55% with a loss. Must. Win.
The Chiefs now feature eight players with at least 250 scrimmage yards this season, which leads the NFL. No other team has more than six.
Travis Kelce’s 10-yard touchdown late in the third quarter was his 83rd career NFL score and tied former RB Priest Holmes for the most total touchdowns in Chiefs’ franchise history. More via @ByNateTaylor: espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…

NFL EVP Troy Vincent said he told owners today that it might be time to revisit the 4th-and-15 proposal instead of onside kicks — since recoveries are happening at a much lower rate than the league hoped.
The Raiders' 30 offensive plays yesterday marked the second-fewest by a team in the Super Bowl Era. The Chiefs allowed just 95 yards across 10 possessions. KC now owns the No. 3 scoring defense in the league at 17.7 points allowed-per-game.
The Chiefs had as many FIRST DOWNS (30) as the Raiders had TOTAL PLAYS (30) on Sunday
That's not even to mention that Mahomes is on pace for a career high 629 rushing yards and 11 TD's on the ground. I don' think that pace continues but he had 307 rushing yards last year and already has 222 lol
Patrick Mahomes is currently on pace for 4,290 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 6 INT's by season's end. Rashee Rice has been out of the picture this entire time, and Worthy missed time as well.
My theory: unlike 99.9% of all other plays, where both the OL & DL take their cue to move from the ball/center, Philly lets their RG determine when to go, then the C snaps the ball after he sees the RG move. Go watch it. It's the right side, never the left. Every. Single. Time.
This has actually become my problem with the push play. I've defended it forever—Never want something banned because one team is good at it. But the fact that it's becoming so hard to officiate is turning me ... Specifically calling false starts and fumbles is the issue.
There would be no need to "ban" a specific play if the officials enforced the LOS rules already in place🙄 #MakeTheNeutralZoneNeutralAgain
TBH with how unbelievably good kicking has gotten in recent years? In rare occasions like this the hockey/soccer-style PK shootout with FGs of varying distances sounds awesome! Also would force more offensive aggression in OT from coaches with perceived kicking disadvantages
Hear me out. Get rid of ties (the fact that the NFL changes all these other rules, but. Ever did anything to avoid ties is wild) But if the game is still tied after OT: kickers get in for a field goal shootout. (Similar to penalty shootout) Start at the 30-yard FG distance.…
It’s official: Tyquan Thornton has more touchdowns in his 3.5 game Chiefs career than Skyy Moore in his 39 career Chiefs games (including the playoffs).
Should I be the one to tweet that Tyquan Thornton has as many touchdowns for the Chiefs in 3 games as Skyy Moore did in his Chiefs career, including playoffs?
