Embraced working from home and spending some money I don’t have to spend on commuting on things like fresh flowers, nice candles, expensive fruit and SO MANY KINDS OF TEA. This is so much better than any office I ever worked in 😍
Enthusiasm is the single best skill to develop as a remote worker. Keeping a positive attitude, and trying hard to do things well, is the most important skill. Being able to "finish" something is NOT as important as being "eager to accomplish" something.

I set up regular meetings with key stakeholders. Even if we don't have anything business specific to talk about (rare) we always have good conversations and connect on a personal level. #remotework
Be visible when remote.
Career tip: If your boss doesn't see it, you won't get credit for it. Document your work. Present demos. Promote the good stuff. Don't expect your boss to remember a year of work. At review time, provide highlights.
