Today is day 35 of the Democrat Shutdown. People across Kentucky and the nation are struggling because Democrats continue to block a clean, bipartisan Continuing  Resolution. Senate Democrats need to end the chaos and reopen the government now.

When Democrats say they’re shutting down the government as “leverage,” it has broader ramifications than they could ever realize. Take a listen to just one of the many stories I heard this week around Fort Knox. The government has been shut down for a month too long!

I hope everyone across Kentucky’s 2nd District has a safe and Happy Halloween!

The damaging effects of the prolonged shutdown could not be clearer. Senate Democrats must stop blocking the bipartisan, clean Continuing Resolution and reopen the government now!

Great run down of my roundtable discussing the impacts of the shutdown on #KY02 yesterday. While Democrats use Americans’ health care, troop pay and those on SNAP as “leverage,” Republicans have already voted to lower premiums and reopen the government. courier-journal.com/story/news/pol…

All it takes to reopen the government is for Senate Democrats to no longer block the clean, bipartisan government funding bill. Doing that would restore funding for Medicare telehealth appointments, community health clinics, and countless more programs. Democrats need to stop…

Democrats used to say that shutdowns are dangerous, idiotic, and self-defeating. We agree. Unfortunately, Democrats change their tune when they don’t get their way. Holding our government hostage and harming families to advance left-wing policies won’t get them anywhere.

The prolonged Democrat Shutdown is having devastating effects on families across Kentucky. From military families at Fort Knox who are facing uncertainty over their next check, to SNAP recipients who might lose food support, to veterans not being able to access certain programs –…
