Hi @LauraSyron1 sorry I missed you while you were in Ottawa. I would avoid @porterairlines out of Ottawa to Toronto and any international (U.S.) flight. I’ve never had good experience with them and friends on recent flight to Florida also had a full day delay.

Hi Deborah, did you get compensation? We had delays on way down (minor) and really bad heading home with @porterairlines on Jan. 13. No food voucher, no offers of bottled water and after nearly 8 hours, the website says no compensation. Or issue was not weather related.
After a cancelled @porterairlines flight, 4 hours in line to get vouchers, being shuttled 30 minutes away to a hotel, it's a new day and we are on our second delay! Most food places won't take the vouchers 🤦🏻♀️ The snow at home is sounding really good! @ctvottawa
And, after this @porterairlines #porterairlinesfail they are refusing compensation and stating the delay was less than 3 hours. #donotflyporter I took screen shots of the continued delay which was nearly 8 hours and not due to weather.

Flight down was delayed too. The return from runway to terminal and rebooking to Jan.16, “go get your luggage and enjoy the night in Ft. Lauderdale” comment from @porterairlines followed by change to flight out around 11:45 pm was too much. They should stick to domestic routes.
@porterairlines Stranded at Ft Lauderdale Airport - pilot announced a mechanical issue on tarmac. Delay will well over six hours. Lots of elderly passengers and children, very limited communication and no food, water, vouchers or support of any kind at the airport
