THE RETROCOMPUTIST'S INTERNET PORTAL

We are back from the dead... @wgoodf

RetroNET has moved to a cheaper neighbourhood... retro-net.ddns.net

WE APPEAR TO BE ALIVE +++ The guts of RetroNET have been transplanted into a new body... the Apple IIe is still DOA. Baby steps...

RetroNET is dead! The PSU on the Apple II blew up and seems to have taken everything else with it. Doesn't look like a quick fix is likely.

Anyone who hasn't been here in the last year is gonna get the axe! Login now, or face my wrath! ~admin

I'm going to delete all the inactive accounts that are cluttering up the place.

INACTIVE ACCOUNT PURGE! +++ Wed Aug 10 18:54:35 GMT 2011 +++ Attention all you deadbeat RetroNET users...

GIVING UP ON TWITTER, it's too hard to script... Subscribe to the RetroNET RSS feed instead: http://retro-net.org/~admin/rss.xml

RetroNET users sending mail via PINE will need to update their smtp-server settings. See http://retro-net.org/help/pine for details.

A FEW CHANGES... rearranged the MCP a bit and added an RSS Reader (Snownews) for your convenience.

Wolfie showed up just long enough to get one kill in and claim today's Hunt crown.

Normal service seems to have been resumed...

Having some probs with the ISP changeover... RetroNET is offline right now and I'm out of town for a few days...

RetroNET will be moving some time between Christmas and New Year's... depending on a variety of factors, we may be down for a while.

BACK AT IT. Had a bit of downtime in the last two days... seems to be rectified now. Fingers crossed.

NO NEWS IS BAD NEWS. Telus shut down their nntp server on October 1st, which basically means RetroNET can no longer offer Usenet access.
