A busy and brilliant week! We welcomed teachers in from other schools to talk maths, two school trips, meeting new pupils at stay and play, fabulous sportsmanship at the Corby triangle, a SEND and well-being coffee morning, moderation and a wonderful EY/KS1 sports day today! ☺️
Brilliant eco themed #WorldBookDay and thanks to @cmcollins_hort (former Blue Peter gardener) for coming to visit and helping with our sensory garden plans 🙌 fab day all round
Project Pride Day #2 - yesterday we welcomed c.40 volunteers from our Ridgeway families, staff & @HarboroughWood1 to plant over 450 trees, 200+ bulbs and winter bedding plants. Amazing morning and great community spirit. Thank you all 🌳👍😊

As part of our work on developing our pupils’ confidence as well as helping them to appreciate others, we are ‘Throwing Kindness like Confetti’ Each class has a basket of post-it notes and if someone is or does something kind they write it down for all to see 😍 Amazing work👏👏

We have loved the first couple of days of our summer club with @AcademyBowden Lots of crafts, games,sports and conversation along with a trip to Forest School. Lots more fun planned over the next few weeks.

Since returning from lockdown we’ve been creating our Community Art Project-“Each tile represents the person who made it, & they work together to represent our whole school community. The idea is for the children to feel like they are all part of the school again.” #artmatters✨
